About Me
Self taught portrait artist
I have been drawing animals for as long as I can remember. It all started with being OBSESSED with horses. I drew them everywhere, did projects on them and generally driving my parents, and teachers, bonkers.
Then life happened followed by Covid and a life changing trip to Antarctica, I rediscovered my love and joy of drawing and creating.
So having tried many media, I have finally found the one I like the best - coloured pencils.
I use, in my opinion, the best quality products such as Polychromos, Caran D'ache Luminance/Dablo and Derwent Lighfast pencils and Clairefontaine pastelmat paper and board.

Capturing the spirit
I ask for a few photos of the animal and also a brief description of them so I can get an inkling of what their character is so I can hopefully replicate this within the picture.
Wildlife is another passion
